Cafe ~ FREE

  • Serenatta at the Frist

  • Serenatta

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with the second of three special performances by Pablo Garzón and Serenatta. (The next Hispanic Heritage Month performance is October 10.)

Serenatta, a Nashville based Romantic Latin Ensemble, is a band with world appeal. Through violin, vocals, flutes, Spanish guitars, accordion, upright bass and percussion, Serenatta features the lush rhythms of tangos from Argentina, bossa novas from Brazil, pasillos and bambucos from Colombia, joropos from Venezuela, waltzes from Peru, boleros from Mexico, and guaranias from Paraguay, among others. Serenatta's romantic style evokes the splendor and magic of the Latin spirit.

Admission is free for college students with valid school ID on Thursday and Friday evenings from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. (with the exception of Frist Fridays).
