Poetry Aloud: Kate Daniels
Featuring Kate Daniels, professor of English and Creative Writing at Vanderbilt University, and poet
Celebrating National Poetry Month and the exhibition To See as Artists See: American Art from The Phillips Collection, nationally and locally known poets will read poems by American poets from the late nineteenth century through the twentieth century. The poets will select poems that reflect the exhibition themes and illuminate one or two art works in the exhibition. Come along and find out if your favorite poem will be read aloud.
Kate Daniels is the author of four collections of poetry, including A Walk in Victoria’s Secret (2010). She lives here in Nashville where she is professor of English and creative writing at Vanderbilt University.
