With your help we can continue to inspire people through art to look at their world in new ways.
The Frist Center for the Visual Arts is a reality today because in 2001 our community shared a vision that Middle Tennessee could, and should, become a cultural center where people of all ages have access to world-class art—a place where area residents and visitors are delighted and inspired. Thank you for sharing with us these past thirteen years of exhibitions, programs, and community outreach.
As we look forward to the future, we ask you to be a part of the continuing story by supporting our Annual Fund. Your gift in any amount enriches our community and ensures a future of creating, discovery, inspiring, and changing lives through art.
Your gift of any size will impact our community.
Purchases one month of watercolors for Martin ArtQuest Gallery–the Frist Center’s award-winning interactive space for adults and children.
Subsidizes transportation costs for one visit from a school or community partner group. Each year the Frist Center provides visits from kindergartners through senior citizens.
Purchases the art supplies needed for one art trunk–the Frist Center’s mobile art kit. The Frist Center sends 60 art trunks into the community each year, touching the lives of more than 2,500 people annually.
Covers the cost of materials for one teacher workshop. More than 20 workshops are held each year to equip teachers with the materials and curriculum they need to bring art to life in the classroom.
Sends two kids to the Frist Center’s Summer Art Camp, designed specifically for children ages 5 to 13.
