Interested in developing your artistic skills? Want to work with a teaching artist?

ARTlabs and miniLABS are just that. Come learn new skills in genres such as analog photography, customized bicycles, and animation—to name just a few! Practice visual thinking, problem-solving, and technical artistry in studio workshops, with a teaching artist to guide you.

FOR PRE-TEENS and TEENS (ages 11–14)
miniLABs are free one-hour studio sessions hosted by a Frist Community Partner organization.

Our next miniLABs are scheduled on July 11 and July 13 and will be led by artist Vadis Turner. Turner will assist participants in rethinking the clutter of their room and how to turn it into wall art. Basic art supplies will be provided.

Details and registration information will be posted soon.

FOR OLDER TEENS (ages 15–17)
ARTlab offerings may range from a one-time four-hour class to a two-day workshop series, all with teaching artists.

Our next ARTlab is scheduled for July 27–28 and will be led by artist Vadis Turner. Teens will learn how to transform and rethink everyday objects into a painting. Bring clutter. Leave Transformed. Basic art supplies, admission and parking provided by the Frist.

Details and registration information will be posted soon.
