ARTlab: Activities for Youth
Interested in developing your artistic skills? Want to work with a teaching artist?
Come to the Frist Center’s Mini-ARTlabs and ARTlabs to experiment with different types of art-making—like taking analog photographs, customizing bicycles, and animating stories, to name just a few! Practice visual thinking, problem-solving, and technical artistry in studio workshops, with practicing artists to guide you. Mini-ARTlabs are free one-hour studio sessions at Frist Community Partner organizations, in their neighborhoods. ARTlabs range from stand-alone four-hour classes to two-day workshop series at the Frist Center.
