The Frist Center offers special pricing for groups for guided and self-guided tours of  exhibitions for visitors of all ages.  Explore the exhibitions on a guided tour and gain a greater understanding of the art.

Group Requirements

To be considered a group for general Frist Center admission, you must have at least 10 participants when you make a reservation. The following are the cost categories:

 

Docent-Guided Walk-Up Tours for Adults

Visitors may join a regularly scheduled guided tour of certain exhibitions without a reservation. Docent-guided tours for adults are available every day at 1:30 p.m.  All tours originate at the Information Desk inside the galleries on the Main Level. Visitor Services staff at the Frist Center can advise visitors as to the availability of docents. Call (615) 744-3247 for schedule information.


Architecture Tour

The Frist Center also offers a monthly Architecture Tour for those interested in learning more about our landmark building—the former Nashville downtown post office and a prominent Nashville architectural treasure from the Art Deco period.
