Greetings,

It is with great pleasure that we announce 2010 AT THE FRIST. The year ahead promises an extraordinary array of exhibitions from Classical Greece to cutting edge contemporary Korean art and more -- British Pre-Raphaelite painting , Haute Couture from London and Paris, Italian Renaissance Painting, Japanese photography, glass art by Dale Chilhuly, and the beloved art of the French Impressionists from the Musée d’Orsay in Paris. Members will enjoy free admission to all of these memorable exhibitions.

We begin this banner year with Heroes: Mortal and Myth in Ancient Greece, an exhibition that will resonate for every Nashvillian who has visited The Parthenon in Centennial Park. The exhibition provides insight into one of the most influential cultures in Western civilization. Opening in the Ingram Galleries in February will be Masterpieces of European Painting from the Museo dee Arts de Ponce, an exhibition that demonstrates how a single collector can change a culture.
