Call for Artists: 2012 Holiday Facebook Timeline Cover Image

I acknowledge that I am the sole author and owner of all copyright in the work(s) of art (the “Work(s)”) that I am hereby submitting to the Frist Center for the Visual Arts (the “Frist Center”) for possible inclusion as part of the 2012 Holiday Facebook Timeline Cover Image (the “Exhibit”). I grant to the Frist Center a nonexclusive, worldwide license to use the Work in one (1) online display on Facebook and to use the Work in promotional and marketing materials related to the Exhibit for a term of one (1) year beginning on December 1, 2012, and ending on December 1, 2013 (the “Term”). The Frist Center will keep a copy of the Work for its archive, but will not make use of the Work after the Term without my permission. I acknowledge that the Work I have submitted does not invade on the privacy of any person or publicize any matter of any person’s life that would be considered offensive to a reasonable person. Additionally, the Works I have submitted do not include the image or likeness of any person, copyrighted works or trademarks that are owned by any other person or entity, or private property that is owned by any other person or entity. I also acknowledge that the Frist Center reserves the right to select no more than four (4) Works for inclusion in this Exhibit, and that the Frist Center further reserves the right to select Works that do not, in the Frist Center’s sole judgment, violate the restrictions set forth above. I further certify that I am over 18 years of age and that I have the full legal right to execute this agreement.
