Accessibility
The Frist Center has been certified as “Accessibility Friendly” by the Nashville Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The Frist Center has designated accessible parking that is available for vehicles displaying the appropriate disability permits. A limited number of accessible public parking spaces are also available on 9th Avenue. Barrier-free entrances are located on 9th Avenue near Broadway and at the rear courtyard near the service court entrance on the Demonbreun Street side of the building.
Accessible rest rooms are located throughout the Frist Center, and assisted listening devices are available for visitors with hearing impairments who are attending programs in the Frist Center Auditorium.
Wheelchairs are available free of charge on a first-come, first-served basis near each entrance and at the coat check counter.
Large-print wall text is available for all exhibitions at the Volunteer Information Desk inside the gallery foyer.
With advance notice, we will make every effort to arrange for American Sign Language and foreign language interpreters at no additional charge.
